Pediatric Orthopedics Department

The Department of Pediatric Orthopedics provides specialized medical services in pediatric orthopedics and traumatology, as well as medical recovery services in the department with beds and the office in the Ambulatory Clinic. Approximately 3,000 patients, aged between 0 and 18 years, are admitted to the department annually, performing an average of over 750 surgical interventions, some of which are particularly complex. We are among the first centers in the country that have successfully tackled: limb inequality surgery, the treatment of minimally invasive fractures, the use of modern osteosynthesis methods (synthesis with elastic rods, plates with locked screws, etc.), the treatment of leg deformities using the Ponseti method, hip endoprosthetics in teenagers, arthroscopy. We also benefit from the Ambulatory Clinic where consultations, dispensaries, and free prescriptions are issued according to the various national health programs.
